Kudos....
Kudos today goes out to the Wives, Girlfriends, and other special women in our lives. Ladies I have to admit its tough being a guy these days with all of the things we have to deal with. Especially for me this past year as sports fan My Bears Missed the playoffs by one game My Wolverines had the worst season ever. There were days that I couldnt hold my head high and look at USC, Viking, and the God awful Irish, and Buckeye fans out there. The fact that we have those shoulders to cry on at times is very much appreciated. I love the fact that I never have to wash those nasty socks, boxers that i just took off. I know my wife in particular hates when I go "do my thing" in the bathroom, just fresh off of her on her hands and knees prior cleaning it up. I love the fact that when its time to out of town I never have to worry about what I am gonna wear and packing a suitcase, when i'd rather play Xbox. We also appreciate that when you pick up a book and go in another room to allow us time to play for an hour and a half when I know you would rather be talking to me about your day. So here is to you ladies for the times that we should say "Thanks Babe" instead of "whats for dinner."

COngrats on finally thinking with the head on top of your head....and for that I'm sure for a split second your women were debating if they should reward you with sex! Seriously guys, that's all it takes! I'm bummed I missed out on the conversation that led to this blog.

head on top of your head?? that was stupid. this is what lack of sleep does. but you know what I mean. The head on top of your body.
ReplyDeleteLol... Yeah we get it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I must say...it's very nice to get Kudos from your significant other. After all, we are so deserving of it!!!!
ReplyDeleteBut men (at least my husband) has his redeeming qualities as well. First of all, I have a greater sense of security in the home. I know he won't let anyone come in and get me :) Also, he never goes to sleep without checking to make sure all of the doors are locked and secured. And, I can't tell you how nice it is to not have to take the trash out - EVER. I haven't had to touch the big green garbage can in over 3 years!!! And what makes that even sweeter is I never have to remind him to take the trash out. Also, I'm not the best cook, but he is!!!!! He's a master chef! He has no problem firing up the grill and whipping out a great meal. And speaking of food -- I don't have to carry a single grocery bag. Not from the store to the car, and not from the car to the house. He takes care of all of that. (I do put all of the groceries away, however). And, on top of all of that, he still finds time to be a true gentleman -- he doesn't forget to get the door!
Thanks Babe!! (What's for dinner?)
